Purpose of the Diploma

Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with at least 25 Admission Point Score (APS) points from a maximum of six subjects.

Key Application Information
- Closing Date : 31 August 2025
- Applicants must be South African citizens residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
- The official intake advert is published annually in newspapers, clinics, hospitals, and on the KZN Health website.
- Applications must be completed online; hand-delivered, posted, or emailed applications are not accepted.
- Only one online application per person will be processed.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo assessments, medical examinations, and document verification.
- Successful applicants will receive bursary funding from the Department of Health.
- Accepted students must sign an agreement, attend full-time, and participate in Work Integrated Learning (WIL), including weekends and public holidays.
